GRILLED PLANTAIN AND SAUSAGE

GRILLED PLANTAIN & SAUSAGE

Grilled plantain and Kielbasa sausage with a serving of turkey breast.

INGREDIENTS:

● 4 Kielbasa sausages

● 2 plantains

● 2 slices turkey breast

● 2 eggs

● ¼ cup milk

● 1 slice cheddar cheese

● 3 sticks butter (melt 2 sticks)

● Pinch of salt

PROCEDURE:

1) Slice and unpeel the skin of 2 plantains. Cut each plantain into 3 chunks.

2) Heat up a grill and place the plantains on top. Place the Kielbasa sausages over the grill too. Brush some melted butter over the sausages and ensure to turn them occasionally. Turn the plantains occasionally as well.

3) While the plantain and sausages are grilling, beat 2 eggs in a bowl, pour some milk, a pinch of salt and beat the eggs.

4) Heat up a stick of butter in a pan and pour the eggs into the pan, add a single slice of cheddar cheese and scramble the eggs. When the eggs are done frying, serve them in a small bowl.

5) Once the plantains and sausages are done grilling, serve them in a plate along with the bowl of scrambled eggs, 2 slices of turkey breast and (this is optional) a small bowl of ofada sauce.

6) Serve this with some freshly squeezed juice or a fruit mocktail. Enjoy!
