Deep fried boneless crispy chicken with a homemade cream mixture, veggies and burger bread.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 boneless chicken
- Burger bread
- 4 slices cucumber
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp chilli sauce
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 10g butter
- ½ cup cream mixture
- 3 cups oil
- Sprinkle of sesame seeds
PROCEDURE:
- Lay your boneless chicken breasts on a chopping board and use a meat tenderizer to flatten it.
- Season the boneless chicken with a pinch of salt, a teaspoon of garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
- Sift a cup of flour and add a teaspoon of garlic powder and cayenne pepper. Mix this together.
- Break 2 eggs and carefully extract the egg white from the yolk. Add a teaspoon of chilli sauce to the egg whites and mix this together.
- Crush a cup of cornflakes in a wide plate and set them aside.
- Heat up 3 cups of oil to deep fry the chicken.
- Take one boneless chicken, coat it in the seasoned flour mixture, then coat it in the egg whites mixture, and finally coat it with crushed cornflakes.
- Place the chicken in the hot oil and let it fry on low to medium heat. Turn the chicken occasionally to ensure all sides are cooked.
- Slice the burger bread into two and butter both sides of the bread.
- Heat up a pan on low heat and place the buttered surface of the bread on the pan. Allow the bread to toast on low heat. Once the bread has been slightly toasted, take it off heat.
- Place the burger bread on a plate, spread any cream mixture of choice over it. Cut 2 slices of cucumber and place it on top of the creamed bread. Place the crispy chicken on top, spread some more cream mixture on the other half of the burger bread and place it atop the burger. Finally, Sprinkle some sesame seeds on top of the burger bread.
- Serve and enjoy.
