CHILLI BEEF STIR-FRY

Spicy shredded beef in a savoury oyster sauce. 

INGREDIENTS:

● 400g shredded beef

● 1 tbsp light soy sauce

● 1 tsp black pepper

● 1 tbsp yaji spice

● 1/4 cup oil

● 2 tbsp chopped garlic

● 1/4 cup white cooking wine

● 2 tbsp onions

● 2 tbsp oyster sauce

● 10 pieces red chilli

● 10 pieces green chilli

● 1 tsp undiluted cornstarch

PROCEDURE:

1)  Rinse the shredded beef and place it in a large bowl. Marinate it with a tablespoon of light soy sauce, a tablespoon of oyster sauce, a tablespoon of yaji spice, white cooking wine and some black pepper. Mix these ingredients with the beef and leave to marinate for an hour or two.

2) Heat up some oil in a pan and sauté with chopped onions and garlic. Now you can add the marinated shredded beef into the pan.

3) Add a teaspoon of cornstarch and one more tablespoon of oyster sauce. Combine this together very well.

4) Add the red and green chilli into the pan and stir-fry this until the beef is done cooking.

5) Serve with any dish of choice. Enjoy!
