A healthy alternative to fatty pasta recipes.
INGREDIENTS:
- 400g spaghetti
- ½ cabbage (sliced thin)
- 1 mackerel fish (boiled, deboned and mashed)
- ¼ cup oil
- ¼ cup chopped pepper
- 3 tbsp onions
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 100g curry leaves
- ¼ cup sesame oil
- 1 tsp dried herbs
- ½ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp seasoning
PROCEDURE:
- Boil the spaghetti until al dente.
- While the spaghetti is boiling, heat up ¼ cup of oil and sauté with chopped onions, ginger and garlic.
- Stir fry this on low heat and add the chopped peppers, half of the sliced cabbage and the mashed mackerel fish.
- Once the pasta is al dente, use a tong to pick it directly from the pot and place it into the pan.
- Add a teaspoon of herbs, 3 tablespoon of seasoning and the curry leaves.
- Finally, proceed to add the rest of the sliced cabbage into the pan. Stir everything together while ensuring not to break the pasta.
- Scoop 1/3 cup of pasta water and add it to the pasta. Let this cook until the pasta is done cooking,
- Serve and enjoy!
