Stir-fried spaghetti made with veggies, fried beef and Asian sauces.
INGREDIENTS:
· 400g spaghetti
· 300g fried beef chunks
· 1 cup spring onions (sliced thin)
· 1 cup carrots (sliced thin)
· ¼ cup chopped pepper
· 2 tbsp chopped garlic
· ½ cup chopped onions
· 1/3 cup oyster sauce
· ¼ cup soy sauce
· ¼ cup blended sesame oil
· ¼ cup oil
PROCEDURE:
1) Boil 400g of spaghetti until al dente.
2) While the spaghetti is boiling, heat up ¼ cup of oil in a wok or pan and sauté with the chopped onions and garlic.
3) Add the chopped pepper and fried beef chunks into the pan. Stir fry this on low heat for 2 minutes.
4) Add the spaghetti directly from the pot into the pan and season with 1/3 cup of oyster sauce and ¼ cup of soy sauce.
5) Scoop 1/3 cup of the pasta water and pour into the pan.
6) Add ¼ cup of sesame oil into the pan along with the chopped carrots, spring onions. Stir fry this on low heat until the spaghetti is ready.
7) Taste the dish to see if it requires more soy sauce or oyster sauce.
8) Serve and enjoy!
